Color Profiling
Our Color Profiling service is designed to help you achieve impeccable color accuracy across all your printing projects. Getting the correct colours out of your equipment is one of the most crucial things often overlooked by the transfer printing industry.
Merely changing paper or ink brands will affect the colour accuracy of the print. Even changing substrate suppliers will affect the colours.
Even from batch-to-batch ink colours tend to change slightly. In transfer printing, the transferred colour also changes depending on the substrate being transferred to AND the program the image is printed from.
For instance, the same image printed with the same profile and transferred to say a mousepad and a metal sheet will yield slightly different colours. If you are printing personalised gifts for the general public no one will notice, but on corporate jobs where a company logo must be absolutely the same no matter the substrate it's critical that colours are accurate.
We use advanced spectrophotometers and industry-leading software to create custom ICC profiles for your specific combination of printer, ink, and media. This process ensures that what you see on your calibrated monitor matches what comes out of your printer.

- How to build your own colour printer profile for the print, inks, paper, software and substrate you are using.
- How to use the colour profile in your print software and / or setting it in the print driver.
- How to make minor adjustments to the image in case of a different ink batch changing the final transfer colour slightly without redoing the profile.
- Our service also includes education on color theory, gamut mapping, and how to maintain color consistency across different printing techniques.
